Introduction
Tiansongpi Station, which is a classic Japanese style building focusing on the porch and having semi-outoor space, located at Sansing township in Yilan was build in 1921 during Japanese colonial period which main purpose was transporting the wood of Taipingshan forest area and carrying passengers which brought local people convenience. Even though the station had been stopped now, it was not torn down. And after renovation, it still keeps the original appearance. Tiansongpi Station is one of the rare wooden station in Taiwan. Tiansongpi Station had witnessed the prosperous period in the old time. To take passengers returning to the old prosperous time of the station, Sansing township office build up a circular railway in front of the station and a reprinted steam train of Taipingshan forest railway which size is one third of a complete train. There are two carriages; the speed per hour is 2.4 km and it costs you around 10 minutes for taking one time. Parents and children can together have fun of experiencing taking the steam train at Tiansongpi Station Park. As the train is whistling and steaming, tourists are all excited.
